An accomplished Biopharma Strategist and Marketing Executive with a 20+ year track-record of large-scale transformation in Fortune 500 companies including Johnson & Johnson, Kite Pharma, Genentech and Pfizer, Deanna Angello pursues each professional challenge with passion and purpose. Whether developing new capabilities or turning around seemingly insurmountable situations, Ms. Angello challenges the status quo and elevates mindsets on the journey to consistently successful outcomes for patients.
Deanna’s business acumen, courage and commitment has provided her the runway to identify and maximize significant opportunities, assess risks and guide organizations through the ebbs and flows of complex cycles and economic fluctuations. Ms. Angello was responsible for $10B portfolios and overcame intense market threats that had the potential to negatively impact the bottom lines of the three flagship products facing their largest competitive threat. A true strategic thinker, she is skilled at setting priorities, aligning imperatives, understanding ROI, and optimizing resources. She has also built out functionality where none existed and taken the marketing capabilities of her organizations to peak levels of performance.
Currently she leads Oncology Franchise Strategy & Marketing for The Jansen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson. She is responsible for leading marketing strategies across the Janssen portfolio of oncology brands with a focus on key account management and customer experience. She also passionately served on the Board of The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (AFTD), a non-profit dedicated to raising awareness and finding a cure for (FTD), a neurodegenerative disease for 6 years. Deanna is an avid mountain climber, hiker, triathlete, and marathon runner. In addition to Mt. Everest, she has hiked many other famous ranges often raising funds for charity in the process.
A true servant leader, Ms. Angello has been able to reach across both functional and geographic borders to build strong, capable and efficient organizations, while promoting associates to positions of greater responsibility, helping them to reach their fullest potential. She accomplished this by motivating employees to strive wholeheartedly for their company’s goals, ensuring they feel valued, knowing what they do makes a difference.
Ms. Angello holds an MBA degree from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, as well as a BS degree in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh.
